Deep Thoughts…
I was watching an interesting movie yesterday - “What the #$*! Do We Know!?” and there was this actress in it (Marlee Matlin). Marlee was rendered deaf at the age of 18 months and uses Sign language to communicate. During the interview with her I was thinking, if she speaks English and she talks to another deaf person from lets say China, I'm sure they will understand each other even tho they speak different languages (natively). Words are different but description of things remains the same… Lips move differently but hands describe the same thing. That makes the Sign language - The Universal Language. Food for thought…
