Happy New Year everyone, I wish you all the best in the new 2005! This year was pretty successful for vpox.com | green ape. The traffic grew from 0 to around 900 unique users a day (minus the robots) and to an average of 7000 pageviews. It's not much but it means a lot to me. And I'd like to thank all my visitors for giving the time to click and observe my site. I'm looking forward for a redesign job and hopefully alot of interesting content. Thanks. Be safe. Группа “Чорнобривці” образовалась в декабре 2003 года. Именно тогда ямайско-африканский состав вокалистов (Стив Ди, Растаман Дэвис и Ивонн) впервые вышел на сцену арт-клуба “44″ в сопровождении романтически настроенных музыкантов из Киева (бас - Славик “Асик” Дьяченко, ударные - Виталий Бажора, клавиши - Тарас, гитара - I Ray).

Основа репертуара группы - оригинальные обработки традиционных украинских песен в стилях регги, афро-латино и хип-хоп. Исполнение темнокожими солистами в национальных украинских костюмах таких песен, как “Ти ж мене підманула”, “Несе Галя воду”, “Їхали козаки”, “Ой чорна я си чорна”, “Розпрягайте хлопці коней” и других еще никого не оставляло равнодушным. В репертуаре группы также оригинальные афро-латино композиции на английском и африканских языках, а также кавер-версии популярных песен Боба Марли, Африка Симона, Шона Пола и других исполнителей.
